The North Rim-South Rim Shuttle is between 4 and 5 1/2 hours long depending on pick-up and drop-off locations. There is one break along the route for your convenience. If passengers would like to be dropped of at Lee's Ferry they need to put that in special notes as the reservation is made.

Our South Rim route options are designed to give hikers the flexibility to complete their journey without needing to stay overnight on the North Rim. With an early morning shuttle, you can start your hike at the trailhead on the south rim and catch a returning rim to rim shuttle in the evening back to the south rim (7pm). Or Hikers can catch the midnight shuttle at the south rim which will take them to the north kaibab trailhead for an early morning start for the north rim to the south rim. In addition, hikers can catch an evening shuttle at the south rim taking them back to the north rim. We also offer a midday shuttle option for hikers who are incorporating an overnight stay into their trip, providing added flexibility for a variety of hiking plans. Whether you're aiming to complete a rim-to-rim hike in a single day or taking a more extended approach, our shuttle service is designed to support your adventure every step of the way.

Please arrive at your shuttle stop ready to board at lease 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time for check-in, bag-loading, and seating arrangements.

***The South Rim Entrance into the park can have 1+ hour wait time to enter the park. Please plan accordingly.*** If passengers miss the shuttle, they forfeit their fare.

We recommend people who want to take rim-to-rim shuttle after their hike and are not sure if they will be done hiking by 6PM, hike from the North Rim to the South Rim. The trailhead pick-up time for the rim-to-rim shuttle is 8:11pm on the South Rim as opposed to 6PM on the North Rim.

When checking-in and boarding the shuttle, passengers will be required to show:

Reservation Changes & Cancellation Policy

Customer Initiated Reservation Changes or Cancellation Requests

Advance Reservation Changes or Cancellations Requests:
If a customer cancels or requests to change a shuttle reservation more than two weeks before the scheduled departure date, they may be eligible for rescheduling or for a credit toward a future Trans-Canyon Shuttle service, contingent upon availability, less any applicable booking or service fees.
Cancellation or change requests made within two weeks of the scheduled departure date are not eligible for a credit.
Customers may consider obtaining trip insurance to cover relevant travel costs or contingencies.
How to Request to Cancel or Change a Booking:
All cancellations or modification requests must be submitted via email to info@trans-canyonshuttle.com.

Missed Shuttle Penalties

Passengers who are not ready to check in at their designated pick up location and scheduled pick-up time:
Will incur a late fee of at least $25 (but no more than the cost of the fare) if delayed by 5 minutes or less and still able to be picked up at the discretion of Trans-Canyon Shuttle
Will incur a late fee of at least $50 (but no more than the cost of the fare) if delayed by more than 5 minutes and still able to be picked up at the discretion of Trans-Canyon Shuttle.
Will have to book a new reservation if arriving after their shuttle has already departed the designated pick-up location at the scheduled pick-up time.

No Refunds

Strict No Refunds Policy:
Trans-Canyon Shuttle does not issue refunds for cancellations initiated by the customer at any time or for any reason. Operator initiated cancellations may result in a credit for the customer that can be applied toward an eligible future Trans-Canyon Shuttle reservation.
No refunds will be issued unless required by applicable law or regulatory authority and in accordance with Trans-Canyon Shuttle’s Terms of Use.

Cancellations by Trans-Canyon Shuttle (Operator)

Trans-Canyon Shuttle reserves the right to delay or cancel service when, in the sole judgement of Trans-Canyon Shuttle, such action is warranted. Reasons for such delay or cancellation can include, but are not limited to:
Inclement weather (snow, ice, heavy rain, flash floods, extreme winds)
Road closures, hazardous road conditions, or park closures
Mechanical issues, safety concerns, or other unforeseen events beyond Trans-Canyon Shuttle’s control
Shuttle delays are not eligible for credit
In the event Trans-Canyon Shuttle cancels service for any reason customers will be offered a service credit equal to the value of the unused portion of their booking, which may be applied toward an eligible future reservation.
Service credit terms:
Service Credits will be valid for 18 months from the original booking date, or as otherwise noted, and may be used toward any comparable Trans-Canyon Shuttle service subject to availability.

Force Majeure/Unforeseen Events

Trans-Canyon Shuttle shall not be liable for any failure to perform its service obligations, where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to: Acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, road closures, trail closures, National Park or Forest closures, or other force majeure events.
In such cases, Trans-Canyon Shuttle may offer a conditional credit for future travel.

Consumer Law & Fair Dealing

This Terms of Service policy is intended to be consistent with Arizona consumer protection principles. Under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act, A.R.S. 44-1521 et se., businesses must avoid deceptive or unfair practices in advertising and executing their service and cancellation terms.
Please note: Arizona state law does not generally prescribe specific refund policies for private transportation services, but any terms offered to customers must be clearly disclosed at the time of booking and honored as stated.
